From Survival to Stability.
Housing stabilization + financial recovery + credit restoration + credit building for trafficking survivors.

Housing stabilization + financial recovery + credit restoration + credit building for trafficking survivors.
Advent Advocate's provides survivor-centered support to victims and survivors of human trafficking, helping address the housing and financial barriers that can remain long after exploitation ends.
Our mission is to support victims and survivors in overcoming those barriers, restoring economic stability, and building a foundation for safe, secure, and independent futures.
Survivor-Centered • Trauma-Informed • Confidential
Leaving exploitation is only the beginning.
For many victims and survivors of human trafficking, the effects of exploitation can continue long after they reach safety. Housing barriers, financial instability, relocation costs, and credit-related challenges can make it difficult to establish a secure and independent future.
Advent Advocate's exists to help address those barriers.
We provide specialized support designed to help survivors move toward safe housing, financial recovery, stronger credit, and greater economic stability.

Advent Advocate's supports individuals impacted by sex trafficking and labor trafficking.
Every survivor's circumstances, needs, and goals are different. Our approach is centered on meeting survivors where they are and supporting the path they choose.
Whether a survivor is working to secure housing, relocate to a safer environment, address credit-related challenges, or begin rebuilding their financial foundation, Advent Advocate is here to help navigate the next step.
Advent Advocate's focuses on the housing and financial barriers that can stand between survivors and long-term stability.
Housing Stability
Support with eligible housing-related expenses, including application fees, deposits, move-in costs, relocation expenses, and other qualifying needs.
Credit Recovery
Support addressing qualifying credit and consumer-reporting issues associated with a trafficking experience.
Credit Building
Education and support designed to help survivors establish or strengthen positive credit history.
Financial Recovery
Resources and support focused on rebuilding financial stability and moving toward greater economic independence.
Human trafficking can create circumstances that continue affecting a survivor's ability to obtain housing, relocate, establish credit, and build financial stability.
The barriers may look different for every survivor.
But the goal is the same:
Advent Advocate recognizes that no single organization can meet every need a survivor may have.
We work within a broader community of advocates, service providers, and organizations committed to supporting individuals impacted by human trafficking. When a survivor's needs extend beyond the services we provide, we believe the right next step is connecting them with an organization that may be better equipped to help.
Advent Advocate is a member of the King County Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) Task Force, a multidisciplinary community working to strengthen the response to commercial sexual exploitation and support the safety and well-being of those impacted.
Our participation reflects our commitment to collaboration, continued learning, coordinated response, and connecting survivors with appropriate services.
Sometimes the best way we can advocate for someone is by helping them find the right resource for their specific need.
Depending on an individual's circumstances, additional support may be available through organizations specializing in areas such as:
We believe survivors should have control over their own path forward.
Advent Advocate's approach is grounded in dignity, privacy, choice, respect, and empowerment. We do not believe survivors should have to repeatedly relive their experiences in order to receive compassionate support.
Our role is to listen, help identify barriers, connect survivors with appropriate resources, and support them as they work toward the future they choose.

Advent Advocate works alongside professionals and organizations that support victims and survivors of human trafficking.
We welcome appropriate referrals and collaborative relationships with advocates, case managers, attorneys, housing professionals, social-service organizations, community organizations, and other partners.

Your support helps Advent Advocate address the housing and financial barriers that can make rebuilding after trafficking even more difficult.
Together, we can help survivors move toward safety, stability, and independence.
ADVENT ADVOCATES cannot respond to emergency situations of imminent danger. If you or someone you know is at risk of harm, please call 911. If you suspect human trafficking, please direct your reports to the National Human Trafficking Hotline.
